Afghani Fateer Pyazi

We loved this breads taste. So easy to make, with few ingredients and filling. Its usually eaten as is but we loved to eat it with olive oil, red chili flakes and parmesan cheese. 


-1 tsp instant dry yeast
-1 tsp sugar
-1 tsp salt
-1 cup lukewarm water
-2 cups of flour
-Some onions, green chilies, coriander leaves, green onions, spinach(optional)


-Add yeast and sugar in lukewarm water. Let it rest for 10-15 mins. Yeast gets active.
-Mix flour, salt and activated yeast water in it and knead the dough, keep dough aside for 40 mins.
-Roll it thin, then spread oil/butter, veggies, and roll it as shown in video. (
-Cook it on medium flame in a non stick pan from both sides until golden brown in color while applying some oil and cover it for better cooking from inside.
