Pannerey Bahar Recipe

Wow, Really very tasty. It is not at all time consuming. Very easy and Quick to make. Best to be served with Nan [Indian bread]. Try it once. You will definitely love it.


Paneerey Bahar




Serves: 4                                                                                 Time: 15-20 Minutes


Ingredients:
Ingredients
  • 75 gms. Paneer/Cottage Cheese/Indian Soft Cheese [Cut into the shape of Triangles]
  • 1 & 1/2 Big tomatoes [Puree]
  • 1/4th Cup of Water
  • 2-3 Garlic Cloves [Finely Chopped]
  • 2 Cloves/Laung
  • 2 Green Cardamon [Powdered]
  • 1/4th Cinnamon Stick
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4th Tsp Sugar
  • 2 Green chillies [Finely Chopped]
  • 1/4th Tsp Red chilly powder
  • 1/4th Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4th Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4th Cup of Heavy  Cream
  • 1/4th Tsp of Cumin Seeds
  • 3 Tbsp of butter at room temperature
  • Some coriander leaves to garnish
Method:
  1. Heat a Pan. Melt the butter into it. Add Cumin seeds. Add Cloves, Cardamom, Cinnamon stick. Saute for 3-4 seconds.
  2. Add, garlic and green chillies and saute for 3 seconds. Add, tomato puree, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder, sugar and water and mix very well. Cover the pain and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Then, add Paneer and cook for 3 Minutes so that paneer will get all the flavors.
  4. Add, heavy cream, mix well and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
